Shep's First Cowboys Game!

We would like to thank Donna, Delana, Stephen, Drew, & Shelly for including us on their family trip to the Cowboys game (aka Jerry World). We had a wonderful time!

Shepherd was such a good boy! He was so captivated by all of the sights & sounds.

What a great family! I only wish we would've had more time to visit.

Daycare

Well, today is the day I have been dreading for the past 8 weeks (okay more like 10 months). Shepherd spent his first day at daycare. The alarm was set, clothing laid out the night before & a daycare bag was carefully packed with all of the essentials; bottles, diapers, wipes, & extra clothing. But no matter how much you prepare, nothing can prepare you for the moment you walk to the car after dropping your little guy off. Luckily, we have found a daycare close to home with some really wonderful people. This picture was taken today by Shep's teacher. She emailed it to me this afternoon and I must say seeing his sweet smiling face made me realize that he was in good hands.

1 Month Old

I can't believe that it has already been 1 month! When Shepherd was born he weighed 6 pounds and he was 19 inches long. Yesterday at his 1 month check-up, he is now weighing in at 8 pounds 5 ounces and he is 21 inches long!  Everyone keeps telling me to enjoy this time because they grow up so fast, but I had no idea it would happen so quickly! I took Shepherd up to his daycare on Monday so I could finish some paperwork and introduce him to his teachers and I was shocked when I saw some of the other kids in his class. They were sitting up playing & they looked huge to me! I plan to enjoy every single second I can with him over the next 4 weeks before I have to go back to work!
