Well, today is the day I have been dreading for the past 8 weeks (okay more like 10 months). Shepherd spent his first day at daycare. The alarm was set, clothing laid out the night before & a daycare bag was carefully packed with all of the essentials; bottles, diapers, wipes, & extra clothing. But no matter how much you prepare, nothing can prepare you for the moment you walk to the car after dropping your little guy off. Luckily, we have found a daycare close to home with some really wonderful people. This picture was taken today by Shep's teacher. She emailed it to me this afternoon and I must say seeing his sweet smiling face made me realize that he was in good hands.
